Following six successful years as a classroom teacher, he was selected to serve as an assistant principal at Olmsted Academy North, a middle school for males. Next, he proudly served as the principal of Foster Traditional Academy and Byck Elementary prior to being named the first principal of the W.

Principal Gunn is currently enrolled in a doctoral program at Bellarmine University. DuBois Academy as we embark on an exciting and un-precedented journey in Louisville. Without question, our school will become a beacon of hope and success and a model of excellence!

As a father, I believe each and every one of our sons was born to achieve greatness. That said, I also understand reaching great heights is not meant to be easy. We will teach and promote such characteristics as grit, responsibility, teamwork, respect, compassion, and leadership to strengthen school culture and aid in the development of our young men.
